The Trust Center of Deutsche Telekom AG is an integral part of Deutsche Telekom Security GmbH and one of the leading trust centers in Germany. We work with the newest security technology and operate a high-security environment for our services that is spanned by two data centers.
Since 1994, Deutsche Telekom AG has operated a Trust Center, which in 1998 became the first in Germany to be approved by the Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts RegTP (now the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur)) to issue certificates for digital signatures in accordance with the German Signature Act (SigG).
Since July 1, 2016, our Trust Center has been compliant with the European Regulation on Electronic Identification and Trust Services (eIDAS).
In addition to issuing certificates in the qualified area, Telekom Security also develops, builds and operates complex public key infrastructures in the advanced area. In addition to a range of public key infrastructures, which we operate for industrial customers, public authorities, countries and organizations, we have also implemented special PKI applications. We also issue certificates for web servers, for example.
In the area of non-qualified certificates, our safety and performance is confirmed by the ETSI certification.
